How do your products work?

Plants need carbon and oxygen, right? Our products deliver carbon and oxygen. Energized carbon, specifically. These two building blocks allow plants to maximize root penetration, which boosts water and nutrient uptake. And when you boost water and nutrient update, you increase sugar flow. This benefits the plants’ health . . . increasing yield. Plus, energized carbon detoxifies our soils by reducing salts and harmful chemicals.

What is energized carbon?

Energized carbon is our proprietary process in which we use carbon, instead of salt, to deliver energy to your plants.

Why use energized carbon?

Carbon is the most essential element for life. Carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen combine to make sugar—the primary component of all plants. Unlike ordinary carbon sources (compost, peat), energized carbon enhances microbial activity, which results in faster sugar production. Plus, these three elements are the only elements that are not toxic to any plant life.

What differentiates your products?

We start with a pure source of carbon free of heavy metals and toxins—sourced from the peat bogs of Northern Canada near the Arctic Circle. Then, we active the carbon using food-grade potassium hydroxide which makes the carbon readily available for you plants. After that, we infuse high amounts of energy and oxygen, necessary elements of a balanced nutritional program.

Our products deliver a high-energy carbon and oxygen food source that also balances nitrogen levels. The result? Plants soak up nutrients that are already present in the environment. CarbonWorks products are completely natural. We simply duplicate and enhance nature’s normal processes.

Yes. We designed our products to work in conjunction with traditional fertilizers. Less traditional fertilizers, to be specific. As testing and crop trials have shown, farmers have obtained the best results when they’ve used our products and reduced their fertilizer inputs by 10 to 40 percent. Remember: our products make it easier for plants to use nutrients that are already present in the environment. That means less commercial fertilizers needed! Check with your distributor’s product specialist for specific compatibility questions. And we always recommend a simple jar test just to be sure.

Our products are designed to work in conjunction with a reduced use of traditional fertilizers. Testing and crop trials show that optimal results were obtained when growers reduced their fertilizer input by 10 to 40 percent when using our products. Because these products are highly charged, microbial activity is enhanced and the nutrients that are already present in the soil become more readily available.

Do synthetic fertilizers contain salt?

Yes. Salt is a synthetic fertilizer’s most basic element. This is why we recommend reducing your use of NPK and other synthetic fertilizers. Our products are salt-free and work to reduce salt buildup in soil.

Yes—you should mix our products with water as they are highly concentrated. We distribute our products this way to ensure premium quality at reasonable prices. Check with your product specialist or our products use guides for the correct mixing rates.

You can purchase our products by the gallon from your authorized CarbonWorks dealer. We deliver our products to dealers in 250-gallon totes or 2.5 gallon jugs.
